November Homeschooling

The month of November, 2008 for homeschooling started me on a new curriculum for US. History. Beautiful Feet’s American History for Young Children. So instead of just going with Weaver I took more time and went to the beginning of US History with Beautiful Feet curriculum. Instead of just studying a few famous people we started at the beginning of European involvement in the America's with the Vikings.

November 10th – We studied Lesson one which is about The Principle of Individuality, and some about Leif the Lucky, we did copy work, Flashcards for sight words, and did Saxon Math,.
November 11th – Principle of Individuality, Lesson 2 of BF, Fingerprints, color and labeled Leif, Watched God Made me Special from Max Lucado, FCds and Saxon math.
November 12th – BF Lesson 3, I- Ordinal Numbers, Store, J- started Rod and Staff’s Days go By reading book and workbook, Fcds.
November 13th – BF Lesson 4 finished copying self-government, watched Viking on Netflix, Fcds, saxon, J- Finished R&S story and worksheet.
November 14th – BF Lesson 5/6 Principle of Christian Character, Leif the Lucky, Scaredy cat reading program pg 9, Fcds, Saxon, I –R&S workbook, J- Pace.
15th 16th – weekend off
November 17th – BF Lessons 7/8/9/10, Fcds, Watched Lyle the Kindly Viking, … And a side note the computer’s hard drive died.
November 18th – BF Lesson 11 Columbus, Fcds, Watched Viking Deception on Netflix, J- Saxon, HW, I- R&S workbook.
November 19th – BF Lesson 12 Columbus, ALSO WEAVER Leaders Chapter 5 Lesson 1 and Bible Lesson. J- HW, Saxon, FCds, MUS, I _ FCds, MUS, R & S workbook, Saxon.
Novmber 20th – BF Leson 13, FCds, Weaver Ch5 Sensitivity, MUS, Watched Veggie Tales Pirates who don’t do anything, J- HW, Saxon, I – R & S workbook.
November 21st – BF Lesson 14, FCds
November 22nd – BF Lesson 15, Saxon
November 23rd – Church
November 24th – BF Lessons 16/17/18/19/20 FCds
November 25th – Talked about why we have thanksgiving, read thanksgiving books, FCds and Saxon for both boys.
26th-30th No School. Did Some Thanksgiving projects, and kids helped with cooking and cleaning and decorating.
