December Homeschooling

For December I often take off the whole month but was afraid of taking off so much and the kids having a hard time starting back up after winter break. So we did take off 2 weeks for the most part from the 21st – Jan 4th.
December 1st – Beautiful Feet Lesson 21- 24 Jamestown, J- Fcds, R & S I – Pace, also reading James and the Giant Peach, and watched it today.
December 2nd – BF Lesson 25, My America (book), Finished up the First Native Americans, FCds, Saxon.
December 3rd – BF Lesson 26 – James and the Giant Peach… Note the kids were sick today.
December 4th – BF Lesson 27, Made crests to represent each child, J- Saxon and HW, I – Saxon, James and the Giant Peach.
December 5th – BF Lesson 28, caught up coloring pages, My America Book- discussed freedoms and symbols, Fcds, I – BOB (Muff and Ruff), R & S, Saxon, J _ 1st steps, Saxon, HW. James and the Giant Peach.
December 6th – BF Lesson 29/30
My Plan for the rest of the month till Christmas was to do one craft or Bake every day.
Dec 7th No school.
December 8th – BF Lesson 31, I _ Fcds, Saxon, J- Saxon, HW, R & S reading. *Tree, Craft.
December 9th – BF Lesson 32 Fcdz, Saxon, Learning Pledge of Alliegence. * Cookies.
December 10th – BF 33 Fcds, Saxon. * Candy.
December 11th – BF Lesson 34, Saxon, Fcds. * Candy.
December 12th – NO SCHOOL, took a snow day we had been getting snow so took off today.
December 13th – Baking.
December 14th No School.
December 15th – BF Lesson 35, took another snow day.
December 16th – BF Lesson 36 started Weaver chapter 7 along side beautiful feet’s American history for Young children. Drew picture of favorite holiday, both chose Hanukah. J _ R & S, I – pace. * Clay ornaments.
December 17th – BF Lesson 37, Weaver Ch 7 Day 2, J - HW, R & S, Pace, I – Pace. * Baked unleavened and leavened bread.
December 18th – BF Lesson 38, Weaver Ch 7 day 3, Fcds, list of food for feast, I – pace, saxon, J – Pace.
December 19th – BF Lesson 39, Weaver Ch 7 Day 4, Fcds, J – Finished Pace, Saxon, HW, I – Pace, Saxon. * baskets.
December 20th – BF Lesson 40, Weaver Ch 7 Day 5, J – HW, R & S reading book, I – Finished Pace, R & S. *Painted Clay.
December 21st – No school, first day of Hanukah.
December 22nd- wrapped presents, went grocery shopping etc. No structured school.
December 23rd – Cookies, Crafts and Traditions of Christmas.
December 24th-December 26th No School.
December 27th No School
December 28th – 30th No School.
December 31st Josiah and I did a reading workshop.
